Adapter Plate: Toyota W56 to 1998-2003 VW 1.9 TDI
This adapter plate will mate a W56 Toyota transmission to a 1998-2003 Volkswagen 1.9L TDI Engine. The adapter has dowel pins for proper alignment. This utilizes the Toyota starter and changes the placement to the passenger side of the engine. Also included is a starter spacer to ensure proper starter to flywheel engagement. Does not require drilling nor balancing of the flywheel.
