Adapter Plate - 12V/24V to 1987-1997 Ford 460 Gas, ZF-5
Adapter Plate- Adapts a 1988-1997 Ford ZF5 manual transmission from behind a 460 (7.5L) gasoline engine. This adapter plate utilizes a 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L or 2008-2010 6.4L Power Stroke starter which is not included. Will properly mate the ZF5 to a 12 Valve and 24 Valve engine.
The best way to identify if you have a gasoline version of the ZF5 is the .5" dowels on the bellhousing. The dowel pins are also staggered, the driver's side being higher up on the bellhousing than the passenger side. The diesel version uses .375" dowel and are directly across from one another.
